What OddScore is
The odds you have banked, not the odds you might one day have.
Total odds are a promise. OddScore is a receipt.
The number
Take every game that has entered and multiply their odds. That is it. Not your stake, not the games still to play.
A fresh ticket is 1.00. Three in at 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 and you are on 5.40. Land the lot and it arrives at your total odds.
Why not rank on total odds
Because then the board is settled before kick off and the winner is whoever booked the wildest ticket. Rank on what has banked and nobody leads at kick off. A punter on eight short prices can sit above a 500 odds ticket that has not started.
When it cuts
It keeps its number and drops below every live ticket. Dead should never beat running, and the ordering handles that, so the number stays honest.
This matters. If cut meant zero, most punters most nights would end with nothing to say. Instead: cut on the last game, banked 47.20 getting there.
What it does not tell you
Who is good at this. A big OddScore is a good night, and a good night is mostly luck. Copy the top ticket if you want, but that is your call.
